Disney World park hours move. Disney publishes a schedule months ahead, then adjusts it as bookings firm up, and by the time most guides go live their numbers are already a season out of date.
So this page reads Walt Disney World’s published schedule directly and refreshes itself every hour. What you see below is today.

Hours data powered by ThemeParks.wiki. This site is not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company. Disney can change park hours at any time, so check the My Disney Experience app on the day.
Each park has its own page with the fortnight ahead, Early Theme Park Entry times, Extended Evening nights and any ticketed events that shorten the day.
Disney sets hours against forecast attendance, and the forecast changes. A date pencilled in at 9am to 9pm in January can be 8am to 11pm by the time it arrives, because a school holiday landed differently or a new attraction opened.
The adjustments almost always go one way: parks add time rather than cut it. If you have planned around a 9pm close and the park is now open until 11pm, that is two hours you did not budget for and the last of them are the quietest of the day.
School holidays and the weeks around Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving push closing times later. Hurricane season can shorten a day at no notice. And hard ticket events cut a park’s public day short, which is the one that catches people out.
Every guest staying at a Disney resort hotel can enter any of the four parks 30 minutes before the posted opening time, every day. So do 15 partner hotels, including the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green, according to Disney.
Thirty minutes does not sound like much. In practice it is the single most useful perk of staying on site, because those 30 minutes land before the general opening crowd reaches the headline rides. A ride that posts 75 minutes at 11am is often a walk-on at 8.35am.
Two things to know. You still need valid park admission, and the parks do not open every attraction during Early Entry, so check which ones are running before you commit your half hour to walking somewhere that is still shut.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours gives guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa resorts, plus the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green, 2 extra hours after a park closes to everyone else. It runs on selected nights at selected parks.
Which park hosts it has been unusually unsettled through 2026, instead of holding to the old Monday and Wednesday pattern. Disney’s calendar for 11 to 25 October 2026 lists EPCOT on 12 and 19 October, Hollywood Studios on 14 October and Animal Kingdom on 20 October, and none at Magic Kingdom. Any page quoting you a fixed weekly rota is quoting last year.
The live table flags Extended Evening on the days it applies. If you are paying deluxe rates partly for this benefit, it is worth checking the specific nights of your stay rather than assuming.
From early August to 22 December, Magic Kingdom runs hard ticket events on roughly half the nights of the week: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party until 31 October, then Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on 25 nights from 8 November. On those days the park closes to ordinary ticket holders at 6pm, five hours earlier than a normal summer evening. The party runs from 7pm to midnight, and party ticket holders can enter from 4pm, according to Disney.
This is the single most common way a Disney day goes wrong. You arrive with a park ticket, plan an evening around the fireworks, and find you are being asked to leave at 6pm. Hollywood Studios closes early to day guests on Jollywood Nights dates, at 7pm on the dates Disney has published. Disney After Hours starts after the normal close.
Our live park hours table marks these days. If Magic Kingdom closes at 6pm, the reason is almost always a ticketed event, and an ordinary park ticket does not cover it. A 6pm close is normal at Animal Kingdom.
Disney’s own calendar shows confirmed hours about 8 weeks out (to about 10 December 2026, checked 13 October 2026). Those distant dates are a placeholder, and they get revised as the date approaches.
The live table on this page shows today, and each park’s own hours page runs about two weeks ahead, which is roughly the window where the times have settled. For anything further out, check Disney’s calendar and come back nearer the time.
We check every date and price against Disney’s own listings before publishing, and say so plainly when Disney has not announced something. How we work is set out in our editorial standards.
Animal Kingdom opens at 8am every day on Disney’s calendar for 11 to 25 October 2026. Magic Kingdom opens at 8am or 9am, Hollywood Studios at 8.30am or 9am, and EPCOT at 9am, or 10am on 23 and 25 October. Guests at Disney and select partner hotels get in 30 minutes earlier.
Disney World’s parks close between 5pm and 11pm, going by Disney’s calendar for 11 to 25 October 2026. Animal Kingdom usually shuts first, at 6pm to 8pm. EPCOT and Hollywood Studios usually close at 9pm. Magic Kingdom runs to 10pm or 11pm, except on party nights, when it closes to day guests at 6pm.
Magic Kingdom opens at 8am or 9am and closes at 10pm or 11pm on ordinary days. On Halloween and Christmas party nights it closes to day guests at 6pm, which happened on 7 of the 15 nights from 11 to 25 October 2026. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party then takes 25 nights from 8 November to 22 December.
Hollywood Studios usually opens at 9am, or 8.30am on some days, and closes at 9pm. Those are Disney’s published times for 11 to 25 October 2026. On 20 October it closes at 5pm for a separately ticketed evening event running from 7pm to 11pm, so check your date before planning around Fantasmic!
Animal Kingdom opens at 8am and closes between 6pm and 8pm, usually the earliest close of the four parks. Disney’s calendar for 11 to 25 October 2026 shows 6pm on 10 of the 15 dates, 7pm on 3 and 8pm on 2. Guests at Disney and select partner hotels can get in from 7.30am.
Disney World’s nighttime shows start between 8pm and 9.30pm on most October 2026 nights. Happily Ever After runs at 9pm at Magic Kingdom and Luminous The Symphony of Us at 9pm at EPCOT. Hollywood Studios has Fantasmic! at 8pm and 9.30pm, Disney Movie Magic at 8.40pm and Wonderful World of Animation at 9pm.
Early Theme Park Entry lets guests at Disney resort hotels and 15 select partner hotels enter any park 30 minutes before it opens, every day of their stay, including check-in and check-out days. Disney says the benefit continues through 2027. You still need valid park admission, and only some attractions run during that half hour.
Extended Evening Hours moves between parks and adds 2 hours after the public close. Disney’s calendar for 11 to 25 October 2026 lists EPCOT on 12 and 19 October, Hollywood Studios on 14 October and Animal Kingdom on 20 October. It’s for Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa guests, plus the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green.
Hours tell you when the parks are open. For how full they are, see our Disney World crowd calendar, built on our own wait-time readings, and the best time of day to ride each attraction.
Disney Springs keeps its own schedule and is not a theme park, so it is not in the live feed above. It opens at 10am and closes at 11pm daily, according to Disney Springs, with some venues open to 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday. See Disney Springs hours for today and the week ahead.
