Ticket, Park Hopper and parking prices are Disney’s, checked on 10 October 2026, with 6.5% tax added to tickets. Disney hotel prices are Disney's own, checked on 11 October 2026. Lightning Lane and dining plan prices are third-party figures, and off-site hotel, food and souvenir costs are our estimates (see the sources below). Other currencies use approximate exchange rates. Always check the official Disney World website for exact pricing before booking.

How much does a Disney World holiday cost in 2026?

For a family of four (two adults, two children aged 3 to 9) staying 7 nights at a Disney Value resort with 5 park days on typical dates, the calculator comes to about $7,400 before flights. Add Lightning Lane Multi Pass and it's about $7,900.

Tickets are the part we can pin down exactly. On typical dates, those 4 tickets for 5 days cost $3,302 including tax. Hotel and food are where your own choices move the total by thousands.

For how ticket prices got here, our Disney World ticket prices by year page follows the 1-day price from $3.50 in 1971 to $209 in 2026, adjusted for inflation.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure in the calculator falls into one of three groups, and it's worth knowing which is which.

Checked against Disney on 10 October 2026: ticket prices for 1 to 10 days, the Park Hopper add-on, the 6.5% sales tax on tickets, $35 standard parking and the Lightning Lane booking windows. The three seasons use Disney's prices for real start dates: 12 January 2027 (quieter), 9 February 2027 (typical) and 26 December 2026 (peak). A 1-day ticket uses the Magic Kingdom price, the dearest of the four parks on most dates.

From someone other than Disney: Lightning Lane and dining plan prices. Disney only shows Lightning Lane prices in its app, so we use Thrill Data, which logs them. Multi Pass ran from $15 to $42 per person per day in 2026 depending on park and date, and the calculator uses $25, the average across all four parks over 2026. Single Pass ran from $11 to $25 a ride, and the calculator assumes one a day at $18, the middle of that range. The dining plan prices come from a Disney Tourist Blog package quote from October 2026, because Disney only shows them inside a package.

Disney hotel prices: the middle of each tier's cheapest room for two adults, with tax, on the same three season dates, from Disney's own prices checked on 11 October 2026. Value comes to $159, $202 and $311 a night, Moderate $333, $374 and $483, and Deluxe $743, $825 and $1,150. The calculator books one room for every 4 people, because Disney’s standard Value rooms sleep up to 4 adults. Our own estimates: off-site hotel rates, daily food spend and souvenirs.

What each setting does

Ticket length moves the per-day price more than anything else. On typical dates the per-day price barely changes from 1 to 4 days ($199 for one Magic Kingdom day, $181.16 a day for 4 days), then falls quickly: $157.01 a day for 5 days and $92.90 a day for 10. Those are adult prices before tax.

Season matters less for tickets than most people expect. A 5-day adult ticket is $145.26 a day starting 12 January 2027 and $163.39 a day starting 26 December 2026, about 12% more at peak. And July 4th week isn't expensive for tickets in 2027: a 5-day adult ticket starting 28 June 2027 is $143.35 a day, slightly cheaper than mid-January. Those are Disney's prices before tax. Crowds are a separate question, and our crowd calendar covers them.

Park Hopper is a single charge per ticket, however many days the ticket covers. On typical dates it adds $95 to a 2 or 3-day ticket and $105 to anything from 4 to 10 days, the same for adults and children. So it's better value the longer your ticket.

Lightning Lane comes in two kinds, both bought in the My Disney Experience app. Multi Pass covers most rides. The biggest rides are sold separately as Single Pass: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios and Avatar Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom. You can buy up to 2 Single Passes a day. Disney hotel guests can buy 7 days before check-in, and everyone else 3 days before their ticket starts, from 7am Eastern. Our Lightning Lane guide covers how to use them.

Hotel: staying at a Disney resort gets you into the parks 30 minutes early every day and free standard parking, which is $35 a day otherwise. 15 nearby non-Disney hotels get the early entry too. Extended Evening Hours, on select nights, are for Deluxe resort guests and a handful of partner hotels only.

Dining plan: in 2026 Disney is running a limited offer where children 3 to 9 eat free on the plan when everyone 10 and over buys one with a room package. That offer covers 2026 travel, so the calculator applies it on peak dates (26 December 2026). For 2027 Disney offers up to 20% off children’s dining without publishing the price, so on 2027 dates the calculator costs children at its moderate food estimate. If the 2026 offer has sold out, pick one of the other dining options for a fairer figure.

Typical Disney World trip costs in 2026

All four use the calculator with the same party: two adults and two children aged 3 to 9, 7 nights and 5 park days, without flights.

Trip Settings Calculator total
Budget Off-site hotel, quieter dates, budget food, parking, low souvenirs $5,458
Mid-range Disney Value resort, typical dates, mixed food, Lightning Lane Multi Pass $7,916
Premium Disney Moderate resort, peak dates, table service most meals, Park Hopper, Multi Pass and one Single Pass a day $11,805
Deluxe Disney Deluxe resort, peak dates, Disney Dining Plan, Park Hopper, Multi Pass and one Single Pass a day, high souvenirs $15,374

Tickets are $3,053 to $3,884 of each total, and Disney sets those. The rest is hotel and food, so that's where to look if the number is too high. The Deluxe trip's food bill comes out lower than the Premium one because the dining plan counts the children free under Disney's 2026 offer.

How to save money on a Disney World trip

The tips under the calculator change with your settings. These apply to most trips.

Buy tickets from Disney or an authorised seller. Unauthorised resellers operate in Florida and online, and Disney won't honour their tickets. Our tickets guide covers where to buy and what to watch out for.

Look at a longer ticket before you add a day elsewhere. On typical dates a 5-day adult ticket costs $60.40 more than a 4-day one, and a 7-day costs $168.58 more than a 4-day.

Move your start date. Disney prices each ticket by its first day, so shifting by a few days can change the price, and 12 January 2027 is cheaper than 9 February 2027 for every length we checked.

Consider a Disney Value resort if budget comes first. All-Star Movies and Pop Century still get the 30-minute early entry and free parking. The rooms are small, but for a family out in the parks all day the hotel is mostly somewhere to sleep.

The $98.59 per adult a night comes from a Disney Tourist Blog package quote, as Disney doesn’t publish it.

How accurate is this Disney World cost calculator?

Tickets, Park Hopper, the 6.5% ticket tax and $35 parking are Disney’s prices, checked on 10 October 2026, and Disney hotel rates were checked on 11 October. Lightning Lane and dining plan prices come from third parties. Off-site hotels, food and souvenirs are our estimates, so treat the total as a budget and get a quote from Disney.

What does the Disney World cost calculator include?

Park tickets with tax, Disney or off-site hotel nights, food, Lightning Lane if you tick it, a souvenir allowance and, if you tick it, park parking at $35 a day. Disney hotel guests park free. It leaves out flights, car hire, travel insurance and airport transfers, so add those yourself.
