DisneyWorldOrlandoFlorida.com is an independent, unofficial planning resource for people going to Walt Disney World in Florida. It exists to give practical information without the fluff.
We are not a travel agency. We do not sell tickets. We are not paid by Disney. We are travellers who have spent enough time inside the parks to know what’s worth your time, what to skip, what’s quietly changed since the last guidebook was printed, and where the official Disney website is selling a fantasy rather than describing reality.
The site is written by two people, both based in the United Kingdom: James Burfield, who runs it, and Megan Burfield. Both have visited Walt Disney World in Florida and both keep going back.
Neither is a former cast member or a travel agent, and we would rather state that than imply otherwise. We started the site because most Disney planning resources read as either sponsored, out of date, or written by someone who had not been in years. Full profiles are on the authors page.
Every guide on this site is written by a human, fact-checked against official Disney information at the time of publication, and updated when significant changes happen (new rides, closures, price changes, policy updates). Where we recommend a product, restaurant, hotel, or service, that recommendation is based on direct experience or thorough research, never on a paid placement. If we ever add affiliate links, they’ll be clearly marked.
