EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from mid-January into early March in 2027, across the quietest weeks of the Disney World year. That timing is the real reason to care about it.
Visual art, culinary art and performing art across World Showcase, included with normal park admission.
Festival of the Arts sits in the gap after the Christmas crowds leave and before the spring break ones arrive. Queues are short, resort rates are at their lowest, and the weather is the mildest Orlando gets.
If you are choosing when to visit and are not tied to school holidays, this window is close to the best of the year. The festival is a bonus on top of that rather than the reason on its own.
In 2026 the festival ran 16 January to 23 February.
Disney lists the 2027 festival from 15 January to 1 March 2027 (checked 13 October 2026). Disney says more details will follow this winter.
Dates checked against Disney’s festival page on 13 October 2026.

It is one of the best. January and February sit between the Christmas and spring break crowds, so queues are short, resort rates are at their lowest and the weather is mild. The festival is a bonus on top of good timing rather than the reason to go.
