EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival: Complete 2026 Guide

When the Festival Runs and What It Includes

The 2026 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival runs from 27 August to 21 November 2026, according to Disney, so it’s on now. The nightly Eat to the Beat concerts finish a little earlier, on 16 November. Disney hasn’t announced dates for 2027 yet.

The festival is included with standard EPCOT park admission. There’s no separate festival ticket. If you have an EPCOT ticket, you have access to the entire festival. This makes it far cheaper than special ticketed events elsewhere at Disney.

Thirty-plus food and drink booths are stationed throughout EPCOT, with the majority in the World Showcase pavilions. Small plates cost $4.29 to $12.50 each on Disney’s 2026 menus. If you sample 8 to 10 items over 3 to 4 hours, that’s roughly $50 to $100 on food before drinks. Budget varies wildly based on how adventurous you eat.

The Festival Concept: Eating Around the World

Imagine EPCOT, but with a temporary restaurant in every pavilion. Each country presents its cuisine through a vendor booth, usually manned by a chef or culinary specialist from that region. You order a small plate (4 to 6 ounces typically), eat it standing or find a stool, then move to the next pavilion.

This is different from EPCOT’s usual model where you sit at full restaurants. The festival is grazing and continuous movement. You’re eating small portions of many things rather than one substantial meal. It works because you’re sampling cuisines globally and the portion control prevents you from getting painfully full.

The full “eating around the world” circuit takes about four hours if you are sampling from most booths. With children in tow, pick six or seven items you already know they will eat rather than working the whole booth list.

Paying for festival food

You pay booth by booth. Disney’s 2026 menus put food at $4.29 to $12.50 a plate, with 73 of the 89 priced dishes at $8 or under, and alcoholic drinks at $6.50 to $16. Disney also sells festival mini gift cards from $15, which some people use to set a budget before they start.

The pass covers both food and beverage items, so it includes wine, beer, and cocktails alongside food. If alcohol is your priority, the pass becomes more valuable because individual wine pours run $5 to $8 each.

Eat to the Beat: Free Concerts

The America Gardens Theatre hosts “Eat to the Beat” concerts daily during the festival. Shows run at 5.30pm, 6.45pm and 8pm, nightly until 16 November 2026, according to Disney. Seating is first-come, first-served unless you book a Concert Series Dining Package. The 2026 line-up includes Hanson, Boyz II Men, The Beach Boys and The Fray, and the concerts are free with your EPCOT ticket.

The 5:30 PM show has the most seating available but it’s still first-come. If you want a guaranteed seat, arrive 15 to 20 minutes early. Standing room is always available if seating is full. The theater is outside, so weather matters. On rainy nights, attendance drops and seating becomes easier.

Most families skip the concerts entirely and focus on food. Some families make the concert a dining break, sit down, let kids burn energy listening to music, then continue to the booths. The concerts are legitimately free entertainment if you want them, not a must-do.

Festival Strategy: Timing and Booth Selection

Visit weekdays rather than weekends. Friday through Sunday crowds are significantly higher. Festival booths have limited inventory. Popular items (short rib, seafood, Asian fusion items) can sell out by 5 PM on weekends. Weekday attendance is 30 to 40 percent lower, meaning longer booth availability and shorter lines.

Arrive when the World Showcase opens at 11 AM. The first hour has the shortest booth lines. Getting there at 11:30 is still good. Arriving at 1 PM puts you in moderate crowds. Arriving after 3 PM is typically quieter because lunch crowds have left and dinner crowds haven’t arrived yet.

Eat before you go to the festival. The portions are small, designed for tasting, not full meals. If you arrive hungry, you’ll buy more items and spend more money. Eat a light breakfast or lunch outside the parks. Arrive at the festival with appetite but not hunger.

Treat the festival as a 3 to 4-hour experience, not a single meal. You’re grazing and moving, not sitting for 90 minutes. Plan to visit 8 to 12 booths, which takes 3 to 4 hours accounting for booth lines, eating, and walking between pavilions. This prevents fatigue and keeps the experience fun rather than overwhelming.

Which Booths Actually Matter

Pro tip: Go to each booth once and identify your favorites. Asian fusion booths (Japan, China) tend to have longer lines and better items. Seafood-focused booths (various countries) are typically strong. Skip any booth on your first pass if the line is longer than 10 people. You can always come back if it’s worth it.

Australia and Brazil booths are usually less crowded. Canada, Mexico, and France pavilion booths are typically busy. If you want variety, balance busy booths with quiet ones so you’re not waiting 20 minutes per item.

Alcohol booths (wine, beer, sake) have their own lines and lines are often shorter than food booths. If wine or craft beer appeals to you, you can often taste more beverages than food because lines move faster.

Pace yourself. Don’t get overwhelmed trying to hit every booth. Hit 8 to 10 booths you’re interested in, enjoy those items, and move on. You’ll remember the experience better if you’re not stuffed and exhausted.

Food and Wine Festival 2026 menu: every booth and what it serves

All 223 items from Disney’s own menu listings, checked on 21 September 2026, with prices and new items added from Disney’s US menu pages on 11 October 2026. That covers the festival’s Global Marketplaces (Disney says there are more than 30) and the year-round EPCOT spots that add festival dishes. Prices are before tax, and “Not listed” means no price was found for that item on Disney’s pages (most of the beers). Menus and prices change during the festival run, and a few booths open later in the season.

Who Should Go and When

The Food and Wine Festival is best for adults and teenagers interested in cuisine and beverages. It works fine with kids ages 8 and up if they’re willing to try new foods. It’s challenging with kids ages 3 to 7 who want only familiar food, because the booths serve specialty items, not standard kid food.

Couples or adult groups wanting to taste international cuisine and wine should absolutely attend. It’s one of the best food values at Disney World. Families with picky eaters should either visit late August (quieter, less crowded) or select 4 to 6 booths you know your kids will eat from and skip the adventurous sampling.

Most of the festival falls in September and October. Our crowd calendar shows how busy each park has been in our own readings.

Booth Budget Reality

Eight items at about $7 each comes to around $56. Plus beverage. Plus parking and admission. Plus any full meals outside the booths. A family of four doing a realistic festival food circuit spends $200 to $300 on food and beverages during a day. This is reasonable value compared to dining at full-service restaurants, but it’s also a budget line item to plan around.

If you’re budget-conscious, visit the festival but skip most paid items and eat affordable breakfast outside parks. Hit 4 to 5 booths that appeal to you most. Enjoy the festival atmosphere without spending heavily. The festival itself is free to attend with your park ticket.

If you’re committed to comprehensive sampling, budget $100 to $150 per person for a full Food and Wine Festival experience (admission, parking, food, beverages). Budget $50 to $75 per person if you’re selective.

Advanced Festival Tips

Tip 1: Use a small backpack or crossbody bag to carry items. You’ll be holding food and walking between pavilions. Free hands are valuable. Bring napkins.

Tip 2: Share plates with your travel partner. Order one item and split it. You’ll taste twice as much with the same budget. Portions are small enough for sharing.

Tip 3: Take breaks. Sit at outdoor seating areas between pavilions. Rest your feet. Eating festival food for 4 hours straight without breaks gets tedious.

Tip 4: Check the festival menus ahead of time. Disney releases booth lineups and menus online before the festival. Review what appeals to you. Prioritize booths when you arrive.

Tip 5: Do booth circuits by area. Work around World Showcase in one direction rather than crossing back and forth, and you’ll cut the walking.

Tip 6: Check prices on Disney’s menu pages before you go. Food tops out at $12.50 a plate in 2026, so the drinks are usually what pushes the bill up.

What Makes the Food and Wine Festival Worth Attending

You get to taste global cuisines and boutique beverages in a casual setting. You’re not forced to commit to a full meal at a restaurant. You can try short rib tacos, sake, ramen, wine, seafood ceviche, and creative vegetarian dishes all in one afternoon. For food adventurers, this is nearly ideal.

The food quality is generally high because each booth is trying to represent their country’s cuisine well. You won’t eat anything mediocre. You’ll eat things you love and things you try once and pass on, but mediocre booths are rare.

For families looking for a break from massive theme park meals and wanting to try multiple cuisines at once, it’s legitimate value. For food enthusiasts, it’s one of the better festival experiences at Disney World.
